About this app
ShieldKit removes ads, trackers and dangerous hosts from Safari — and the blocking itself is free, permanently. No account, no trial, no subscription for protection. WHAT IT BLOCKS • Ads — banners, pop-ups and ad networks, before a single byte is downloaded • Trackers — analytics scripts that follow you from site to site • Malware and phishing — known dangerous hosts never open Everything above is on by default and costs nothing. SEE FOR YOURSELF Safari never reports back to an app what it blocked, so ShieldKit does not show you an invented running total. It shows something you can check instead: enter any site and ShieldKit loads the page, lists every third-party host that page pulls in, and marks exactly which of them your rules block — by name. BUILT TO BE HONEST • Nothing about your browsing leaves your device. There are no servers, no accounts and no analytics in this app at all. • Rules come from openly published, public-domain blocklists. Every source is named inside the app. • Turn each category on or off yourself. Blocking never depends on a purchase. SHIELDKIT PREMIUM — one payment, no subscription • Allow-list — switch blocking off on sites you want to support • Your own rules — block anything the built-in lists miss • Annoyance filters — cookie notices, social widgets and chat bubbles • iCloud sync — your lists follow you to your other devices A single purchase tied to your Apple Account. Nothing renews. HOW IT WORKS ShieldKit uses Safari content blockers, so it protects Safari browsing. Open Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions and switch ShieldKit on — the app walks you through it in four steps. Ads served by a site from its own domain, and content inside other apps, are outside what any Safari content blocker can reach. Ratings growth
Baseline captured. Growth appears after the crawler observes a changed rating count.
