Check where a username you enter appears on public websites, then review each source yourself. Quick Scan is free and checks up to 100 prioritized public sources. Maigret checks the username you enter against public websites: it is a research and review tool, not a people-search database. FROM MATCH TO REVIEWED FINDING See checks finish, open the original pages, and keep found profiles, similar names, blocked checks, and unknown results separate. Mark findings relevant, unrelated, or needing follow-up and add your notes. A matching username does not establish identity or common ownership, so review each source before you rely on it. REUSE YOUR RESEARCH Save reports in encrypted cases on your device. Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription that adds broader Balanced and Deep scans, saved source ranges, same-scope rescans and comparisons. With Pro you can also work through a foreground queue of up to five usernames, each with its own report, and export selected evidence as PDF, CSV, JSON or Markdown; optional redaction removes identifiers and source URLs from the shared file. KNOW THE LIMITS Scans run while the app is in the foreground. Blocked and unknown checks do not prove an account is absent. Maigret does not bypass privacy settings or sign-in requirements and does not delete accounts automatically. Use it only for accounts you own or are authorized to research. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS Pro renews automatically until cancelled. The App Store shows the current price, period and renewal terms before you confirm a purchase, and you can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings. Maigret 3.1 brings a warm research workspace that matches the app icon, a live log of actual source checks, and a simpler three-step introduction. Quick Scan remains free. Search settings, source review, encrypted cases, comparisons, and selected exports are easier to reach.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
