Flavor Notes: Coffee & Brewing

About this app

Flavor Notes is for coffee drinkers who want to taste more, not just log more. An interactive flavor wheel, brew timer, and personal palate insights, all in one app. Visually rich logging you'll actually want to come back to. • Interactive flavor wheel - Tap through 70+ tasting notes organized by family. Explore freely whenever you want to map a cup on your own. • Guided tasting mode - New to tasting or want to sharpen your palate? Step through a structured tasting that teaches you what to notice and when. • Brew timer and ratio calculator - Dial in your dose, pick a method, and time pours. Built-in recipes for pour-over, AeroPress, French press, espresso and more. • Tasting notes that fit your style - A flexible form you shape to your needs. Add or hide any field. Go as deep or as light as the cup deserves. • Command-line(CLI) companion - For terminal-heavy and Claude Code power users, query your library with prompts like "what were my top Ethiopian blends last year" or log a cup straight from your shell. • Personal insights - Log 3 cups to unlock your flavor signature, palate radar, top roasters, top origins, and a year-at-a-glance heatmap. • Bag scanner - Point your camera at a coffee bag and we'll lift out the details for you. • Brew recipes - Save your own and tweak the variables to compare how each change shifts the taste. Share favorites with the community or pull from theirs. • Equipment tracking - Track your grinder, machine, dripper, scale, and kettle with suggested maintenance schedules and care tips to keep every piece performing. Built for home brewers, espresso enthusiasts, journalers, and the curious.

Added many new roasters and over 13,000+ coffees that auto-fill origin, roast, and process to help you log your coffee even faster.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
