Deepcut is a daily sports trivia grid for people who remember the role players. Every day brings two fresh grids, one for pro football and one for pro baseball. Three rows, three columns, and nine squares where they cross. Each square wants a player who satisfies both sides at once: a team and an award, two franchises, a milestone season and a jersey. The stars are easy. The deep cuts are where it gets good. TWO WAYS TO PLAY Immaculate gives you nine guesses for nine squares. One shot each, and a miss locks that square for good. Casual gives you room to think. Name a player who belongs somewhere else on the grid and the square turns yellow instead of red, so you know the name is right and only the square is wrong.
