Neuma: Second Brain

About this app

Neuma is a second mind that lives on your device. It is calm, local-first, and asks nothing of you — no account, no email, no telemetry. Your notes, links, photos, and voice memos go into a private vault that only you can read. Nothing leaves your phone unless you choose to mirror it across your Apple devices, and even then it travels only through your own iCloud. — Capture in any form: text, photos, voice memos, links shared from any other app. — Recall in your own words. Search runs entirely on-device, so your questions never reach a server. — See the weave. The neural graph shows how your ideas connect, so yesterday's thought can find today's. — Synthesize quietly. A single woven page surfaces the threads running through your recent reading and writing. Neuma is free, and the free tier already mirrors your 250 most recent items across your Apple devices. Neuma Plus lifts that cap so the whole vault travels — iPhone, iPad, Mac — through your own iCloud private database. Nothing older is ever deleted; it simply stays on the device that holds it. There is no Neuma backend. Six languages: English, Türkçe, Deutsch, Français, Español, 日本語. Designed in 2026 to feel less like a tool and more like a quiet room. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Notes that never leave — now something you can check, not just read. • The Promise: Settings → “Notes that never leave” lists every host this app can reach and the switch in front of each. None are on by default. The list is generated from the app’s source and re-checked on every build. • Five tabs instead of seven — Vault, Recall, Capture, Neural, Settings — with system icons. Atelier and Suggestions live under Settings → Studio. • The version line now reads the real build. • Small fixes.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
