About this app
Battle Tank — Classic Tank Battle Defend your base. Destroy the enemy. Battle Tank is a faithful, fast-playing tribute to the classic 8-bit tank battles, rebuilt for modern iPhone and iPad. Twenty stages stand between you and victory. Each one sends twenty enemy tanks at your eagle — fast scouts, heavy armour, and the red flashing tanks that drop power-ups when you take them down. Brick walls crumble under fire, steel needs a fully upgraded cannon, and the forest hides you and your enemies alike. FEATURES • 20 hand-built stages, each with its own layout of brick, steel and forest • Six power-ups: extra tank, star upgrade, shield, timer freeze, base repair and the mine that clears the field • Upgrade your tank three times — faster shells, then armour-piercing fire • Choose your tank colour: gold, green, blue or red • Right-handed or left-handed controls • Pause and save at any point, then continue later from the home screen • Game Center leaderboards for best stage score and best career total • Full-screen landscape on both iPhone and iPad Simple to pick up, hard to finish. How far can you defend the eagle?

What’s New
Battle Tank 4.1.0 — What's New Your score, where you can see it. • Score on screen while you play. The left panel now shows the points you have banked this run, your best ever run, and your lifetime total — all updating as you fight. • High score fixed. Beating your best now counts the moment it happens. Previously a run's points were only tallied between stages, so a good run that ended in a game over was thrown away entirely, and HI-SCORE could sit at zero while you were scoring hundreds. • Your run score follows you. It carries across stages, survives Save & Quit, and comes back with CONTINUE. • Redesigned Settings. Pick your tank colour straight from four colour tiles instead of cycling a button, turn sound on or off, see your career figures, and reset your scores or settings if you want a clean start. • Settings no longer hides its Back button behind the ad banner. • Redesigned pause panel and stage-clear screen, both properly sized on iPhone and iPad instead of being cut off at the bottom. • Sharper, larger layout throughout on iPad. Twenty stages. Twenty tanks per stage. Defend the eagle.
