ALOUD Live Translator

About this app

ALOUD is a real-time voice translator for two people who don't share a language. Lay the phone flat between you, pick your languages, and talk. Each side hears the other in their own language within a couple of seconds. The transcript splits in half and the far half flips 180 degrees, so the person across the table reads their side upright. Use the walkie-talkie buttons for clean turn-taking, or switch to AUTO mode and just talk. 70+ languages. Beyond voice: - Camera: snap a menu or sign and hear it translated aloud - A keyboard on each side for noisy rooms or quiet replies - Tap any line to edit and re-translate - Verify: an optional back-translation shows what the other side actually heard - History: search past conversations and export transcripts - VoiceOver and Dynamic Type supported Pricing is prepaid credit, not a subscription. Sign in with your Apple account and get $1.00 of free translation credit. Top up in the app for $1, $5, or $10. Every dollar you pay is a dollar of balance, and you can watch it tick down as you talk. No recurring charges. Privacy: your speech is streamed securely for translation and never stored by ALOUD. Camera photos are used only to speak a description, then discarded. Transcripts are saved to your account so History works, and you can delete any conversation, or your whole account, right in the app. No ads, no tracking. We're a small team and we ship improvements constantly. Even now, ALOUD's translation quality holds up against apps that have been around for years. ALOUD: A Language Of Universal Dialogue.
