Plan a barbecue without guessing how much food to buy or what to take with you. The calculator estimates purchase quantities for adults and children. It considers the selected food, appetite, gathering length, side dishes, reserve, cooking loss, and bone or trim share—giving you a practical shopping target instead of one rough number. CALCULATE THE MENU • Choose pork, beef, lamb, chicken, fish, vegetables, mushrooms, ribs, or a mixed grill. • Count adults and children separately. • Select appetite and gathering duration. • Include bone-in cuts, side dishes, recommended vegetables, and an extra reserve. • Calculate 10 common pork, beef, and lamb rib cuts using cut-specific yields. • Review the amount to buy, expected cooked weight, cooking loss, and non-edible share. CREATE A BALANCED PLAN Build a mixed grill and adjust meat, vegetables, and mushrooms independently. Add more vegetables without reducing the amount of meat—or increase whichever part matters most to your group. USE THE AI PLANNER Enter the number of adults and children to generate a complete suggested configuration. Fine-tune the amount of meat, vegetables, or mushrooms before using the plan. On supported devices, suggestions can use Apple’s on-device intelligence. A reliable built-in planner remains available on other compatible devices. PACK EVERYTHING The Bring Along checklist covers food, grilling equipment, serving, comfort, safety, cleanup, and optional activities. Check off items as you pack, add your own items, and return later without losing your progress. SHARE THE RESULT Send the complete calculation through the standard iOS share sheet to Messages, Mail, Notes, or any other compatible app. No account is required. Calculations and checklist data stay on your device unless you choose to share a result. All quantities are planning estimates. Adjust them for your guests, recipes, and serving style.
