About this app
Flagomir is a kind quiz about the flags of the world, for children and grown-ups alike. Here even a wrong answer teaches you something: after every mistake the game shows the correct flag, the country, its capital and its continent. Nobody loses, nobody is left without an explanation. WHAT IS INSIDE • 194 countries with verified flags and a short fact about each one • Russian and English — switched with a single button • Three difficulty levels: the harder the level, the more a correct answer is worth • Flags mode: name the country by its flag, or find the flag among four • Cities mode: 3000 cities worldwide — name the country a city belongs to • Flags and Cities: pick continents on a map and study only those • A collection of every flag, with search and a card for each country • Family scoreboard: several players on one device, each with their own score • Personal progress: countries learned, where you go wrong most often • Gentle sounds and haptics — each can be turned off separately HOW POINTS WORK A correct answer is worth 1, 3 or 5 points depending on the level you chose. A round with no mistakes doubles your points. A mistake takes nothing away: here it is a reason to learn something new, not to lose. A country counts as learned after three correct answers, not after one lucky guess. HONESTLY ABOUT THE MAIN THINGS The game works without the internet: every flag, country and city lives inside the app. The network is needed for one thing only — the optional world leaderboard in Game Center. Points and progress stay on your device. No ads, no in-app purchases, no sign-up. WHO IT IS FOR Children from about seven — big buttons, short questions, friendly wording instead of "Wrong!". Grown-ups — the hard level with all 194 countries and cities not everyone has heard of. Made by Lev.
