About this app
Every book you read, kept for good. Readable is a calm, private place to track what you read and see your reading life measured — page by page, year by year. No noise, no feeds shouting for your attention. Only your books, and what they add up to. Open the app and start straight away — your name, your genres, your favourite books. No account required until you want one, and everything you make comes with you when you do. TRACK EVERY BOOK Log what you're reading, what you've finished, and what's next. Time your reading sessions — real books included, not just ebooks — record your pages, and watch a quiet streak build as you go. Search by title, author or ISBN, or scan a barcode. BRING YOUR LIBRARY WITH YOU Moving from Goodreads or StoryGraph? Import your whole library with a single CSV file and keep your history. SEE YOUR READING, MEASURED A stats screen built like a year in review: books finished, pages read, and reading days as a masthead you'll want to screenshot. Go deeper into your genres, your most-read authors, how your ratings fall, and how your pace changes through the year. EARN YOUR MILESTONES Reading milestones drawn like engravings — earned quietly, kept for good. Yearly challenges and community goals give the habit somewhere to point. KEEP A DIARY Rate on a half-star scale, review every book, keep private notes, and save the lines worth remembering. Look back on a diary of everything you've read. FIND YOUR NEXT BOOK Search that knows the difference between editions and finds the one you meant. Browse by mood when you don't know what's next. Keep a wishlist for the books you want, with buy options from stores you know — Booktopia, Bookshop.org, Barnes & Noble, Amazon and more — matched to your country. BUILD YOUR SHELVES Organise your library your way and keep every format you own — paperback, hardcover, audio, ebook — together on one shelf. A PROFILE BUILT FROM BOOKS Headline your profile with the four books you love most, pin the reviews and lists you're proud of, and follow readers whose taste you trust. READ TOGETHER Book clubs with a room of their own: read the same book in sync, discuss chapter by chapter without spoilers, and finish together. Public, private, or invite-only. FOR THE PEOPLE WHO WRITE THEM Verified authors can claim their works, share writing progress, and host read-alongs with their readers. CALM BY DESIGN Independent, ad-free, and quiet on purpose. No feeds engineered to keep you scrolling, and no selling your personal data. When you mark a book private, it leaves every public surface with one switch. MAKE IT YOURS Choose the cover each book wears, pick your theme, and shape the app around your reading. READABLE PRO Readable is free to use. Readable Pro adds the full depth of your stats, your choice of themes, streak freezes, a cloud-synced journal, hosting your own clubs, and more — for readers who want the complete picture. A Pro subscription renews until cancelled; manage it any time in your account settings. Every book you read, kept for good. Terms of Use: https://thereadableapp.com/terms.html
Latest release
What’s New
This is the update I've been building toward since Readable launched — months of work, and easily the biggest release the app has had. If the last version was a reading tracker, this one is a reading life. You can now walk in and start straight away: your name, your genres, your favourite books — before you ever make an account. Everything you build comes with you when you do. The social side of Readable is new from the ground up. Profiles are now something you'd actually show someone — headlined by the four books you love most, with your reviews, lists and reading taste in one place. A calm feed of posts and reviews from readers you follow, with photos, videos and proper conversations underneath. And you can share a book, a review, a club or your profile with a link that finally looks the way it should. Stats were rebuilt from the first pixel. Your year reads like a magazine masthead — books, pages, reading days — then goes as deep as you want: your genres, your most-read authors, how your ratings fall, how your pace moves through the year. Reading milestones are drawn like engravings now, earned quietly and kept for good. Book clubs got a room of their own: synced reads with a queue of what's next, discussions that keep spoilers hidden until you've caught up, polls where the options are real books, and goals you finish together. Community challenges give the whole of Readable something to read toward. Search is faster and smarter, and finds the edition you meant. Don't like a cover? Choose the one your shelf deserves. Browse by mood when you don't know what's next, keep a wishlist for the books you want, and see where to buy them from stores you know, matched to your country. And underneath all of it: every format you own on one shelf, series you can follow properly, quotes worth keeping, a diary of everything you've read, new themes, sharper covers, cleaner titles, and hundreds of fixes large and small. Thank you for reading with me. This one took everything I had. — Dakota
