About this app
Volumeal estimates the calories and macros of your meals from a single photo. What makes it different: it gives you an honest range with a confidence level, instead of a fake number that's precise to the gram. WHY A RANGE? No app can guess the hidden fat or sugar in a dish exactly. Others show "312 kcal" with misleading confidence. Volumeal owns the uncertainty: it shows an interval (for example 445-590 kcal) and a confidence badge (±%). More honest — and far more useful for tracking a trend across the week. HOW IT WORKS • Snap your plate: the AI identifies the foods and estimates portions. • Fine-tune if needed: adjust a portion with one tap and the range recalculates. • Add to your journal: your daily goal updates in real time. Tip: place a bank card in the frame as a scale reference for a more accurate estimate. FEATURES • Photo estimation, with a confidence interval • Barcode scanning for packaged foods • Daily journal, calorie and protein goals • Progress ring and color-coded macros • History and weekly trend • Apple Health sync (optional) • Cloud backup of your meals and photos • No ads PRIVACY Your photos and data are encrypted and never sold. You can export or delete all your data at any time from the app. FREE & PREMIUM Daily tracking is free (5 scans per day). Premium unlocks unlimited scans and cloud backup. Premium subscription: • Monthly: $4.99/month (or your local equivalent) • Yearly: $29.99/year (that's about $2.50/month) Payment will be charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings after purchase. Fixes: the keyboard could stay open while entering your profile (age, weight, height) — it now closes when you tap away or scroll. Choose your units (kg/lb, cm/ft) right from profile setup. Foods recognized by the AI now appear in the app's language.
