iPromise - Get Real Work Done

About this app

Make a promise. Your buddy helps you keep it. iPromise is your focus buddy for Mac. Unlike to-do apps that help you plan, iPromise helps you actually do. Pick one task, commit to it, and we guard your focus while you work—stepping in when you drift. Yes, there’s a little buddy (maybe a goose, a turtle, or a comet you choose) that flies in formation with you and keeps you company. No more lonely focus sessions. / How it works Make a promise — Choose a single task and set a timer. You can copy or drag it from your to-do app. Stay on track — A HUD shows your focus state and keeps you accountable. Dock it to the notch on MacBook or float it on screen. Your AI Focus Buddy (and its cheerful animation) can step in when focus breaks. Work done — When the session ends, get an AI-generated summary of your focus and segments so you can improve next time. Your buddy might say something about your session. / Features Focus sessions — Set your duration, start with one tap or ⌘⇧Space. Optional ambient sound (rain, cafe, forest, white noise, and more). AI Focus Buddy — Pick a character you like: goose, turtle, rabbit, comet, tree, and more. Use your own AI provider and API key. Screen context is analyzed to detect focus and distraction; screenshots stay under your control and are never stored by iPromise. Session Inspector — Review each session: 60-segment focus bar, timeline with segment summaries, overall evaluation, and sharing. Overview and streaks — See today’s sessions and focus time, current streak, longest streak, total sessions, and focus-time distribution. iCloud sync — Your focus history, summaries, and insights sync across your Macs. No screenshots are uploaded. iPromise Membership includes a 14-day free trial followed by an auto-renewable annual subscription. Subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in App Store Settings. / Privacy https://ipromise.work/privacy Screen recording is used only to understand on-screen context during focus. Screenshots are processed locally and sent only to your chosen AI provider. You can delete them anytime. iPromise never sees or stores them. / Terms of Use https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Start keeping your promises. Your buddy is waiting!

iPromise still helps you throw yourself into what matters, and looks after your follow-through. Good news: you can now start a task in one tap from the apps you already use to plan and capture. * New Start Focus shortcut: set it up once, then hand a task from Reminders, Things, and other to-do apps straight to iPromise. No more typing the name. * After that, say it to Siri and start focusing with your voice. No keyboard needed. * It can open the start window so you can confirm, or jump straight into a HUD-guarded session. * Duration is supported, handy for to-do apps that already plan a time. iPromise can pick the matching timer for each task. Set duration to 0 for count-up, and stay in it until you’re done. * Settings now includes a Siri & Shortcuts guide to walk you through setup. * Fixed the HUD still ticking and animating after a session ended. * Fixed membership status looking wrong after a trial auto-renewed. * Fixed the focus status label getting clipped when the HUD sits at the top of the screen.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
