This update focuses on keeping your data safe. DATA SAFETY • Fixed sync issues that could remove transactions or accounts on a device, including with shared accounts • Checkbooks now saves a backup on your device before any sync reset • If iCloud Sync can't start, the app now tells you, keeps your data on this device, and helps you contact support BACKUP & RESTORE • Export everything to a CSV file: accounts, transactions, transfers, splits, tags, and recurring items (Settings → iCloud Sync → Backup & Restore) • Importing the same file again skips anything already in the app, so you won't get duplicates • Restore from Backup is now in Help & Support SYNC IMPROVEMENTS • Recurring bills no longer create duplicates when more than one device is open • Duplicate categories created on two devices are merged automatically • Canceling an edit now discards your changes • Shared accounts sync more reliably, including changes made while offline • A new reminder appears when the app needs to be reopened to start syncing HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT • New Sync Troubleshooting guide in Help & Support for your own devices and for shared accounts • Contact Support now works and includes sync details to help us fix problems faster.
