FamBeacon: Family & Friends

About this app

FamBeacon is a family safety app built for peace of mind, not surveillance. Instead of a map you stare at all day, FamBeacon answers one question , "Is everyone okay?" ,and then gets out of the way. Everything runs in your family's private iCloud. No account sign-up, no ads, no data selling. Ever. A calmer way to stay close Presence shows whether each family member is safe at a glance , home, school, work, or on the way. No creepy real-time tracking required. Walk With Me Heading home late? Start Walk With Me. If you don't arrive by your expected time, your trusted contacts are gently notified. A Live Activity shows a countdown on your Lock Screen, and sharing ends automatically the moment you arrive safely. Tell Me When Get a gentle heads-up when your child reaches school, a parent gets home, or anyone arrives at or leaves a saved place. Powered by battery-friendly geofencing. One-tap check-ins "I'm safe," "Arrived," "Heading home," "Running late" — reassure your family with a single tap, no phone call needed. Safety Signal "No news is good news" only works if you can trust the quiet. Safety Signal shows whether each person's phone is still checking in , Connected, Limited, or Signal lost , so silence is never mistaken for "safe." It's a calm connection indicator, not more tracking, and it works entirely on your device. Where did I park? Tap once to save where you parked, then get walking directions back to your car , or let FamBeacon save the spot automatically when you finish driving. It's just for you: your parking spot stays on your device and is never shared with your family. You can even ask "Where did I park?" right in the app. Emergency SOS One button alerts your whole family with your real-time location — reachable from the home screen, the map, your widgets, and Apple Watch. Always free, for everyone. Presence Modes Choose how much you share per place and time of day: exact location, place name only, or private. On your wrist and Home Screen • Apple Watch app — check in, see family, and send SOS from your wrist • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets — everyone's status at a glance, with one-tap check-in and SOS Privacy by design • Location stays in your family's private iCloud , we can't see it • No sign-up, no ads, no analytics, no third parties • Privacy Receipts show who viewed your location • Privacy Zones hide sensitive places from the map entirely Core safety is free for everyone SOS, check-ins, Safety Signal, the live family map, and geofence alerts are always free. FamBeacon+ only adds scale and smart extras. FamBeacon+ Watch over your whole family with FamBeacon+: unlimited members and saved places, unlimited Walk With Me, multiple Tell Me When alerts at once, smart reassurance that gently flags when something's off, 30 days of Privacy Receipts, Elder Mode, and more. More reliable arrival alerts. - When someone you follow nears a saved place, FamBeacon now uses precise location for a few minutes, so "arrived" and "left" alerts come right away instead of when they next open the app. This works for every place, including ones you add later. - When you ask someone where they are, they now get a notification even if FamBeacon is closed. - If the same place is saved in more than one of your groups, one trip now gives you one alert, not one per group. Core safety - SOS, check-ins and the live map - is free for everyone. Always will be.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
