Fly a hand-drawn wizard through the night sky, catch drifting letters, and spell real SAT-level vocabulary — every word you cast is saved with its meaning, so you learn while you play. FLY & CAST Hold to climb, release to glide. Catch the letters of the target word while you dodge bats, fire-imps, and thorns. Complete the word and the spell fires — ice, fire, leaf, or lightning, depending on your wizard. LEARN REAL WORDS This is real vocabulary, not filler: eloquent, sanguine, laconic, tenacious. Each cast word lands in your Spellbook with a plain-English meaning — and now a speaker button reads every word and its meaning out loud, so you learn by ear too. YOUR SPELLBOOK Study what you've caught, mark words as mastered, and watch your collection grow. The game-over screen shows the meanings of the words you just cast — the calm moment where learning sticks. A DAILY WORD, A GROWING STREAK Everyone gets the same daily word. Play it, keep your streak alive, and copy your result to challenge a friend. FOUR WIZARDS, FOUR MAGICS Earn coins in flight and unlock the Crimson, Emerald, and Gold wizards — each recolored from the original hand-drawn art, each with its own element. Fire pierces through crowds, ice freezes a charging imp, lightning storms the whole sky. MISSIONS & POWER-UPS Three missions are always running — cast words, fly far, hit combos — and your progress bar shows how close the last run came. Spend coins on shields, slow-time, magnets, and screen-clears. MADE BY TWO PEOPLE The wizard was painted by April in her college years; the game is built around her art. Studio AM is a two-person studio in San Francisco. Best played with sound on, held sideways, on a broom.

The Daily Word grows up: it now changes with YOUR calendar day (not a faraway timezone's), and today's word has its own Game Center leaderboard — everyone flies the same word, best score wins, resets at midnight. Want a nudge when a new word lands? Turn on the once-a-day reminder in Settings — off unless you ask. Also: the collect-and-dodge hints now actually show on your first flight, the Endless leaderboard is endless-only again, the wizard keeps her place when your iPad resizes the window mid-flight, and Game Center says so honestly when it can't connect.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
