About this app
Find words at your own pace—without ads, promotional pop-ups, countdowns, or subscriptions. Quiet Words is a calm letter-wheel puzzle game built for uninterrupted play. Swipe across letters or tap them one at a time to form words, fill every target slot, and discover bonus words along the way. If you need a nudge, a gentle hint reveals one letter at a time. A QUIETER WORD GAME • 100 hand-checked puzzles on the main trail • A ten-puzzle epilogue waiting beyond the final level • No advertising or promotional interruptions • No timers, lives, streak pressure, or in-game currency • Gentle hints built in—never behind a video • Bonus words and short, plain-language meanings for every target word • Progress saved automatically on your device ONE PURCHASE, NOT A SUBSCRIPTION Levels 1–10 are a free sampler. If Quiet Words is right for you, one optional non-consumable purchase unlocks the rest of the trail for lifetime access. There is no recurring subscription and nothing else for sale in this version. Restore Purchase is available from the paywall and Settings. CALM AND COMFORTABLE BY DESIGN Quiet Words uses soft fades, slow ambient backgrounds, and an unhurried pace. It never flashes or strobes. The in-app Always Calm setting is enabled by default, and the system Reduce Motion setting freezes or reduces the main animated surfaces. The interface supports Dark Mode. VoiceOver players can tap labeled wheel letters and use the Submit button instead of swiping. Music, gentle haptics, and background drift can each be turned off. PUZZLES THAT WORK OFFLINE The puzzles, dictionary, word meanings, music generation, and progress storage are built into the app. After download, normal play does not need an internet connection. App Store connectivity is required only to load, buy, or restore the lifetime unlock. No account is required. Quiet Words contains no ad SDK and no third-party analytics. Gameplay, progress, preferences, and the app’s small usage-event journal remain on the device and are not sent to a developer server.
